Did you lose the end cap for your sport rack roof rack Well, these are gonna be the replacement end caps for you, that way you can replace the damage ones or replace the ones that you may have lost. Now, these can be kind of tricky to put on. You do have to apply some force, that way it doesn't come back off of your roof rack. So, I definitely understanding accidentally losing your end caps, but you are gonna get a set of four. So even if you only need to replace one, get this whole set, that way If anything happens, you have spares. So there's actually a right and a wrong side up.
So you want to make sure that the horizontal three bars are gonna be on the bottom. And then that way this can fit over the end of your crossbar. With our crossbar, without the end cap, it is kinda sharp, so you definitely wanna get that end cap on there. Fit it over, right way up, and then push it in. You still need to push the end cap in, even though it mostly covers the silver parts, keep pushing.
You may have to use something hard, just to hammer that down, but now your end cap is secured to your crossbar. So as long as your crossbars have the dimensions of an inch and a quarter in width and seven eighths of an inch in height, which are your sport rack crossbars, these are going to be the end caps that will work for you..

We have had our roof basket for one year now. It serves our purpose well. We can fit large camping chairs, our folding table, and dog beds in it. The cargo net we purchased separately holds everything securely. The basket removes easily & we hang it on our garage wall.

Thule crossbars are very solid and well made for carrying weight within the stated class limits. I expect long life usage from them. They are also exceptionally versatile for multiple uses. More importantly, etrailer is top notch for service and support. The delivery came damaged by the shipper with end cap missing. etrailer support provided the missing part and had it delivered within a short period. The entire experience with etrailer is nothing less than excellent.
We called for advice about Thule parts to fit some older Thule components & the etrailer rep, Stacey, was terrific. She explained exactly what we needed & emailed with contact info if we had questions. Great price, free fast shipping. E-trailer is the best source we have used.

They are a tight fit but could be a little tighter. I've had some of them fall off.
