Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Thule replacement endcap. This is going to replace the endcap, the right endcap, for your Thule AeroBlade Edge models that you see on the screen there. So if you have any of those three AeroBlade Edge models, this is going to be a direct replacement from Thule so you can trust it is gonna fit right in place with that original, no worries about compatibility issues or anything like that. Like I said, this is going to replace the right side endcap, so make sure you're getting the correct side for your needs.
But if your original endcap has become lost or damaged, this is going to be the replacement that you need. You can see it does not come with a lock core or a plug, so you can reuse your original if you still have it, or we do sell those separately here at etrailer.com. So this is just gonna be the endcap, but it is an exact replacement for that original endcap so it's gonna give you a nice, complete look, you're not gonna have to worry about fitting it together with something that doesn't work. I ordered this part for my Thule Base Rack from Etrailer. Their shipping cost was cheaper than Thule and their customer service is great. You need to install locks and lock them to make sure they do not come off in a car wash or accidentally or someone taking them off. That’s what I did and so far so good.
Not only did I get what I needed, it fits and functions as intended.
Thanks for checking in. I am not very happy with the product. I wish another design would have been recommended. As you can see from photo, car Volvo XC60 does not look too classy. One of the covers flew off shortly after purchase. I ordered a replacement through etrailer. It arrived without the screw. So it it taped on. Another cover flew off this season. I'm disappointed
the Thule end caps are somewhat prone to coming off the bar ends unless you use the locks...... or tape them down with Gorilla tape. thankfully, eTrailer promptly provided a replacement.
After one year the part is still going strong and looks like brand new. I do take my roof rack off in the winter so it has really gotten about 4 - 6 months of use but all is well.
Hard to find pieces and parts for racks looking around town. Etrailer has everything I’ve ever looked for. So convenient.
Very Efficient. I needs to replace a little piece from my ski rack. These guys had the piece available. And it arrived at my doorstep ina couple of days. So that was in time for my ski weekend.
Over a year after purchase I lost a Thule end-cap in the woods. A phone call to etrailer.com's customer service and Debbie was able find my old order, the Thule number, identify the missing part (and the hold-down cylinder) and shipped them an hour later You get what you pay for...Great service.
When I called to order the product, the telephone rep was very helpful. When it arrived, the product fit perfectly. The delivery was delayed from the manufacturer, but an etrailer.com rep kept me updated so I knew when it would arrive.

the crossbars function easily they are sturdy and handle heavyloads with no wobble or strian. I have them in black and silver ON MY suvS and they look great add style and vlue.
High price but OEM part and did the trick. Thanks!
4 Stars overall, product is great and would get 5 stars if not for shipping delay followed by shipping mishap and lack of communication on weekends.
