Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. Today I'm gonna show you how to install, as well as we'll take a look at the 3-Wing Replacement Knob for your Thule Fairings. So this is a small knob that fits this bolt and then that helps secure your clamp to your crossbars. So the knob itself is gonna be one inch in diameter, so that's gonna be all across. And then it goes perfectly in, I'll show you how to get that installed. So you have these clips that are part of your Fairings.
So we're gonna get those installed. They just pop in, push in to secure. And then, you're gonna put this onto your Fairing joint. And then now you're gonna use that little knob and that bolt in order to tighten that down. So you're gonna use this knob just to lightly tighten down on that clamp and just enough where you don't lose that Fairing.
And then from there on, you can continue securing your Fairing. So just like that, very easy install. There's 1, 2, 3, 4 on the 44 inch AirScreen XT. You may have more on the larger or less on the smaller Fairing, so make sure you get enough of them to match. So while you could just use a normal wingnut to secure that bolt, this one is especially designed for this Fairing.
There isn't much clearance underneath there, plus you have that weird angle. So, that one inch diameter, that plastic material as well as the height of this wing, that is perfect. So if you do need to replace that, you can find that right here at etrailer as a director replacement. So if you need your other replacement parts, either for your AirScreen XT, like the adapters, or the straps, or the clips, you can find them here at etrailer. Make sure to get the right part for the right part.
