Hi, there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this replacement bolt set for your adapter mounting kits. So this set is going to replace the bolts needed for the mount kits to install your Thule, or TracRac Ladder rack to your Toyota Tacoma. So this will replace the bolts in your Thule THXK3, or THXK4 adapter kit as well as your TracRac TA34000 and TA34001 adapter kit. So if you have any of those kits and you're needing to replace any of your bolts, this is going to be the kit that you need. It includes eight of these 2 3/8 inch long by 3/8 inch diameter bolts.
Now, this kit is just gonna be the bolts. If you need the clamp feet that is sold separately, you can find it here at e-trailer using that part number that you see on the screen there. But if you are just needing to replace a few of those bolts, this is gonna be the kit for you. That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.

Includes the 8 bolts needed for installation, 8 clamp feet (TAPT-27300) are sold separately.These brackets are a perfect fit for the side rails and enable a snug fit of the ladder rack base on my Tacoma. One caution - the rails have cut out slots in the bottom every foot or so (probably for drainage) be sure to position the hold down clamps so the clamp screws aren't directly under those slots. If they are the clamps won't be tight.
After purchasing and installing my Thule TracRac ladder rack, the next day I backed into a parking space. Not use to having, forgetting the rack was on and not realizing a low tree limb was in path for collision. Ouch!
I was tickled to find out that replacement parts were available. The base mount plate broke (buckled my solid bed rail top, slightly) and 1 clamp screw bent. I was amazed these were the only two components damaged/ needed.

Works like a charm.
While these fit the threading of the Tacoma adapter, the length of these bolts (about an inch longer than they need to be) and the choice of a button head (as opposed to a hex head that you could use a wrench on) make the installation of the adapters frustratingly tedious. I'm disappointed these are what is recommended to pair with the Taco adapters.
After I placed my order, etrailer emailed me and told me some of my items needed to be sourced from another location. While I wish the website would have specified that beforehand, the follow-up customer service from George and especially Sheila was outstanding. They located the items sooner than promised and delivered on time. The parts fit perfectly. I will definitely use them again.
Even though I bought the trac rac on market place several years ago I can always count on e trailer to get sore parts.

The rails on the Tacoma are a bit flimsy and do bend over time which causes the clamps to become lose. Periodic maintenance is needed.
