Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Replacement Modular Base. This is going to replace the modular base for your TracRac Fixed Mount Ladder Rack. This will work with the TracRac TracOne system, whether it be the TA27000B or the TA27000B-34. Either way, this will work as either the right-front or passenger-side base or the left-rear or driver's-side base.
Either way, just depends on how you have it oriented. This is a 6000-Series aluminum construction, so it's going to be very strong and durable as well as rust-proof. Does have this nice matte black dual-stage powder coat finish to help provide extra protection against corrosion. That you are only going to get the one base here, but because this is a Thule product, you can trust it's going to work for your TracRac ladder rack.You're not going to have to worry about fit issues or compatibility problems or anything like that. It is going to be exactly what you need.
I'm going to give you a couple measurements here just to give you some extra encouragement that it is going to work for your application. You can see it is right at 16 inches long by call it three and a quarter of an inch wide. Overall height, I'm going to say it's right about two and an eighth of an inch there. But again, it is the Thule replacement for your TracOne ladder rack. You can trust it's going to work for you if you're needing a new base for your TracRac ladder rack.

After I placed my order, etrailer emailed me and told me some of my items needed to be sourced from another location. While I wish the website would have specified that beforehand, the follow-up customer service from George and especially Sheila was outstanding. The replacement base foot is the black option to match the black TracRac. It also comes in silver part # 8528383001 to match the silver TracRac system.
