Hello, neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our locking knob with the bolt for your SportRack Single Arm Hitch Mounted Bike Carriers. Now folks, this does replace that standard knob on your bike carrier with this locking knob, and it's gonna lock the top plate to your bike's carrier to the bottom plate. It does secure the bikes to the rack and helps deter theft. It's gonna work with hitch mounted bike, single arm bike carriers, and I'll put those item numbers on the screen. It doesn't include the locking knob that I was just showing you, the threaded screw's already there, the two keys and the little plastic washers and the metal retaining washer as well.
As far some dimensions, I'll throw them up on the screen. 2-1/4" long overall for the threaded rod. 3/8" thick by 16 on the threads and the head itself is 2-1/4" wide. I used two pins on one side and SR0018 to lock and quick release when needed and still have storage below panel.

Man, I love my Thule locking knobs! I had a friend fabricate a rack for roof-mounted solar panels on my van. The locking knobs are a theft deterrent and also allow me to pop the panels on and off for storage. Yee ha!
So far, so good. Didn’t use it for the bike rack and yet it works perfectly. Pretty long (which is not an issue for me).
Product was exactly as ordered & arrived in several days as expected. Ordering online was easy & user friendly. Product was of good quality.
