Today we're going to be taking a look at the 36" long heavy-duty handle from Puller Hardware Accessories & Parts. This handle is going to make getting into and out of your trailer or camper much easier. It can be used for other applications as well. It's going to have a 36" long grab area. That's measuring basically just the opening size here, so from this point here to this point here measures about 36" long. The mounting area: we're going to have mounting tabs on each side. It's going to contain 2 holes per side. That platform, or that tab, is going to give us a width of 1", and the diameter of the mount holes is going to measure 5/16".
Hardware is not included, so that will need to be provided separately. This handle is of stainless steel construction. Overall length, measuring from edge to edge is 41 7/8". The diameter is going to measure 5/8". The distance between each hole, measuring on-center, is 3/4". If we take a measurement from the inner hole to the inner hole on the other side, measuring center-on-center, we're looking at a separation of 39 1/4".
Outer hole to outer hole, on-center, is going to be 40 3/4", and then the distance that we have from the mounting surface, or from my tabletop to the bottom of the handle, so kind of that height measurement right there, that's going to measure 2 1/8" tall. I was looking for a solid stainless steel grab bar but it's just tubing I'm not sure how strong it'll be. I've since found that the ones we had
were not stainless steel but chrome plated steel and I'll order more of them. most likelyg be stronger and I don't want a driver falling
It is pretty expensive for what it is even if it is excellent quality. Strong enough to use as an overhead bar to pull ourselves up on our platform bed in our Sprinter.
