Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the assist handle for RV entry doors. This is just going to be an easy to use entry handle to make it a little bit easier to get in and out of your RV and have a sturdy place to grab on to. So it is going to be made of a die cast steel with a chrome plating over that. Does have a California warning, so it's going to be one of those key 65 warnings from the California government there.As far as the overall construction, again it is going to be made out of a die cast steel so it should last for a long time.
That chrome plating will help to keep rust and corrosion to a minimum. Does not come with any hardware to get it attached. So you will have to pick some up on your own. Does have a kind of counter sunk design, so if you want to get some flathead screws, that will work out really well for it. Overall length is about 10 inches.
The width of the base, it's just about an inch wide. The handle is closer to about five eighths of an inch wide, and then about a quarter of an inch thick. Stands about an inch and a half tall or it comes away from the surface by about an inch and a half. The distance between the mounting holes center to center is roughly nine and a 16th of an inch.That's going to do it for our look at the assist handle for the RV entry doors. This does have a lifetime warranty from JR Products, but if you would like a handle this a little bit different than this one, we do have a lot of other options available here at etrailer.com.
