Today we're going to be taking a look at the Polar Hardware Assist Handle. The assist handle is going to feature a nice large grab area. That's the opening size right here for your hand to go into. From this point here to this point here, it's going to give us a measurement of about 7". The overall opening that's going to measure closer to 9". The unit is a nice strong, dependable, and durable design. It's going to be made from a polished stainless steel construction.
Very strong and it's going to be highly resistant towards rust and corrosion. On the unit there's going to be 4 mounting holes, 2 on each side. You can see that they're already pre-drilled and they're counter-sunk for " flat or oval head screws. The counter-sunk is just like a little beveled area that's going to allow for the hardware to lay inside the mount area and flush with the top of that mounting surface. Mounting hardware's not included. The mounting area is going to give us an overall width of about " wide.
The overall length of the unit, measuring from edge to edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 13". The grab area, you can see how that's like a tubular design right there, that's going to give us a diameter of a ". To look at the mount hole spacing real quick, flip it like this. The distance between the mount holes, center on center is going to be 1" centers. Same on the other side. From this hole to this hole, center on center, that's going to give us a measurement, that looks to be about 10" from outer hole to outer hole on center, that looks like it's going to give us a measurement of about 12" That's going to do it for today's look at the Polar Hardware Assist Handle..

These grab handles are constructed from solid stainless steel bar stock. Incredibly sturdy and will withstand any environment. They are nicely polished. I bought a pair to install on my '52 Dodge Power Wagon because they have a great, retro, period-correct look. Only negative (but an easy fix) is that the ends are squared off and a little rough. A short time on the belt sander and they are smooth as silk! Love em!

I installed the stainless steel handle on the inside of my 46 willys jeep windshield frame as a grab bar on the passenger side, and it's perfect for climbing in and out,as well a for bracing yourself when stopping, it has cought the eye of many jeep admires. I dont know how to send pictures yet,thanks James.

Nice addition for a trailer with no handle on tongue, much easier to maneuver onto ball.
Great addition on the tongue of my Aluma tilt car hauler, makes it much easier to locate coupler on ball. Stainless finish still looks new.

Great add on handle for side of horse t railer
Purchased this to replace the 18 yo handle on my camper, which I cannot find. It is a solid piece of stainless steel. It will not rust, oxidize, rot, yellow, wear out, or flex. Simple and effective.
Horse trailers need handles, different sizes for different applications.
