What's up everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out the NOCO XGC Power Adapter. It's gonna be 56 Watts. And what this is gonna be good for is your boost jump starters from NOCO. And it's gonna help charge 'em up to five times faster than a normal two amp plug does.
Let's check it out. So like I said, this charger's gonna allow you to charge it up to five times faster than the normal two amp plug that you have for a standard outlet. And we put that to the test today. When we opened this NOCO boost pro up, it was only about halfway of a charge. So we plugged it in with the adapter and it took, we plugged it in at 11:00 AM and it was done around 12:30 PM.
So that's about 90 minutes there it took to get it to a full charge. So that's pretty quick. It's definitely faster than it normally would. It would take a lot longer just leave that plugged in pretty much all day. So that's gonna be really helpful if you need this quite often, if you have maybe a line of trucks for a company, you got a construction company or something, you use it quite a bit to get things going.
That's gonna get that charged up. Or if you just forget like I do sometimes to plug it back in when you're done. That's gonna help you out, get it charged up way quicker when you do remember to do so. But let's go over how you do that. You got the plug right here, plugs in to this end of your boost.
You see there's two spots there that we can plug in to. We'll go for the 12 volt, plug that in, and then we'll go plug this into the wall. We're gonna have five feet of cord going to the box. We're gonna have another five feet for the plug here that goes into the wall. So you can reach most plugs without having to be right next to it. You can see I'm gonna let it hang down just a little bit. And we still got plenty of room. It's not super tight, and we can still be able to unhook these and jump this battery if we need it to. The box itself has a green light on there. Let you know it is getting power and it is charging. And if you look at the box, you can see it's got a full charge already, but it does light up when it's plugged in, let you know where it's at. Now, you might notice we use the North American plug. It does come with alternative plugs for the UK, the EU, and Australia. So if you need one of those in one of the other countries, it comes included with those. Overall, I think it's a handy thing to have. The NOCO Boost is built around emergencies. If you forget to plug it in, you wanna get a quick charge as fast as you can, and this is gonna help you do that to get you jumped and get back on the road. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out. Hope this helped..
