Hi, everyone. Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at these replacement battery clamps for your NOCO Boost Jump Starters. And this will fit a variety of different jump starters. So be sure to check the webpage for a list of part numbers that this is compatible with, but let's check it out. Now we have the NOCO Boost Sport that we worked with today and these are the clamps that it comes with.

So if one of these we're to become damaged or non-operational, maybe something in the wire got ripped and we've got exposed wire, now we're gonna need to replace them. The ones that come as replacements aren't going to be a direct copy. You can notice they're a bit larger and at the tip they've got a bit more teeth for an extra bit of bite and they've got a much stronger snap to them whenever you open them and a stronger spring inside. They share a lot of the same features, though it's gonna have that spark protection and a nice over-molded connector to create a nice weather-seal, and plug directly into the NOCO Boost Jump Starter. So even though it's not the exact same as the clamps that came with our NOCO Boost Sport, it is going to be a direct replacement in the sense that it functions the same way.

And depending on the one you're replacing, you might find that these look the exact same as the ones you're replacing or maybe a bit bigger or smaller. Now they work the exact same way. We'll just go ahead and connect them to the positive and then the negative. Turn our NOCO Boost on and see that we're getting our white indicator LED confirming that we've got a positive connection and we'd be ready to jumpstart the vehicle. Now my battery's not dead right now, so we don't need to do that today, but good to know that these are working and ready to go for whenever we need them.

And that was our look at the replacement battery cables for your NOCO Boost Jump Starters. If you've got that part that's damaged, these are very easy to swap out and in some cases, it's going to be an upgrade from the original, which is always a welcome surprise. They function the same way, give you that connection point to your battery. The one thing I would say is if you may be looking at these to replace ones that are broken, you might consider the ring terminals. NOCO does make a variety of different connectors that have ring terminals on the end that mount permanently to the battery.

And if you're replacing this for something that you use a lot and have to jump frequently, you might find that those ring terminals are a nicer option. Something to maybe leave on the lawn mower, so that at the end of winter when you go to jump it, it's ready to go and speeds up the process a bit. But if this is something you're only using in case of emergencies on your vehicle, then these are gonna work great. Thanks for watching.
