Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this replacement vinyl cap for your Lippert Solid Steps. It's gonna be a really small and easy part to replace. And looking at our steps right here folded up, we can see where those parts go. This is gonna be the lip that holds onto our door and prevents metal on metal contact. So this one's just fine, but on the other side, you can see that ours is missing.
And with that, you've got a lot of wear and tear happening on the door right up here where it's missing. Metal on metal contact means lots of damage happening. So just get these parts, it comes in a kit of one, so just get two if you need two. And all you gotta do is pop it onto the end in place of where the old cap was, and then put it back into place. That's all you have to do.
So that final cap is a very easy replacement part for your Solid Steps, and it's gonna keep them looking new and keep the door of your RV looking new for longer. Thanks for watching.
