This harness worked perfectly to splice into my existing wiring that feeds to my Atwood water heater control board. I had to purchase a new control board and the new plug of the wiring harness fit perfectly into the new control board, great job on that!
However, It did not arrive for two days after the date it was expected to be delivered…
All in all, I received a great product at a reasonable price, I would buy it again, but let’s hope I won’t have to for awhile.
Thank you!

by:

Exactly what I needed. Took care of the problem. Great price, fast delivery. Thank you

by:

Perfect replacement. No more worrying if a connection is making “good contact” etc including the main Circuit Board plug. It comes with wires and a grommet to replace the loom back behind Sheetmetal if you have complete unit out. I didn’t so I left grommet on wires and just crimp spliced and heat shrinked over crimp connection for good measure. I used some zip ties to tidy wiring up to keep it off access door and heat from burner

by:

The only thing that i would comment about was the fact that the new wiring harness does not fit the existing oem circuit board and you have to purchase a separate replacement circuit board. because of this am awaiting a replacement board to complete my repair.

I ordered a control board from an RV parts vendor and it did not come with the adapter shown in their picture. When I asked for the adapter they told me to call the factory and get a part number and then they would see if they had it. I called your company and a very nice lady gave me two options and took care of me. She was very helpful. I will never use the other company again

by:

Great service and very helpful. Thank you so much

Timely delivery and product was exactly as described

I wanted to reach out to you in regards to your review on the Atwood water heater harness. I did reach out to the manufacturer and I apologize as there is not a specific manual for the harness however if you can tell me which model of water heater you have then I can look to see there the harness part of the installation is in that manual.

  • Troubleshooting Module Burnout On An Atwood G6A-8E Water Heater
Your Atwood G6A-8E water heater could be wired incorrectly since you're burning out multiple control panels and the fuse isn't popping. RV water heaters have to be serviced by an approved licensed technician so you'll want to have one replace the wiring with the Replacement 4-Wire Control Harness for Atwood Water Heaters Item # AT93312 and the control panel with the Replacement Control Panel for Atwood Water Heaters Item # AT91367.

  • Replacement Control Board And Wiring Harness For Atwood G6A-7E Water Heater
The Replacement Control Panel for Atwood Water Heaters # AT91367 is the correct replacement for your Atwood G6A-7E water heater. You should not need to re-wire anything, however you may also need the Replacement 4-Wire Control Harness for Atwood Water Heaters # AT93312. This will supply power from the control board to other parts of the water heater. I have attached a couple of videos for you to check out as well.

  • Replacement Atwood Water Heater Wiring Harness
I contacted the manufacturer about a replacement wiring harness for your Atwood 93756, they advised that the 93756 number was just a component in the water heater and not the water heater number itself. They were able to advise that the 93756 was used in a 94102 IOM water heater and that the 94102 IOM water heater used the Replacement 4-Wire Control Harness for Atwood Water Heaters # AT93312.

  • Replacement Control Panel for G6A-7E Atwood Water Heater
The Replacement Control Panel for Atwood Water Heaters # AT91367 is the correct part for your G6A-7E. It does sound like the control panel is the issue but it is difficult to say for sure, especially on an older water heater. You could also check the wiring and replace it with the # AT93312 if need be. Another option you may want to consider is total replacement. You could upgrade to a tankless water heater like the Furrion # FR48SR. This will likely be more cost effective in the end compared...

  • What Replacement Control Panel Do I Need for My Atwood Water Heater?
I went ahead and reached out to Dometic (the makers of Atwood), and they said that they do not recognize the circuit board with a model number of 93257. However, we do carry the gas-only control panel. That is part # AT91367. This particular control panel is confirmed to to work with Atwood heater models G6A-2E, G6A-6E, G6A-7E, G6A-8E, GH6-3E, GH6-6E, GH6-7E, GH6-8E, G10-1E, G10-2E, G10-3E, GH10-1E, G10-3E, GC6A-7E, GCH6-4E, GCH6-6E, and GCH6-7E. • Troubleshooting an Atwood G6A-6E Water Heater That Won't Ignite
There are a couple of things that could be going on here, but my gut instinct is telling me it's either a circuit board failure or your wiring harness has gone bad. Start with the connectors/wiring harness and make sure they're not loose and that there is no damaged wiring; then move to the control board, and check to see if it's receiving 12V. Also, there should be a small 2 amp mini fuse on the circuit board and the wire in a clear plastic sleeve which is a heat sensitive safety fuse...

  • Is There A Pin Adapter That Switches A 4 Pin Circuit Board To A 10 Pin Circuit Board
I spoke with a Dometic representative and they do have pin adapters for this specific situation. When Atwood switched to a 10 pin circuit board from 4 pin, they started carrying pin adapters for that specific purpose. The part you need is the Replacement Circuit Board Adapter Plug for Dometic Atwood Water Heaters - 10 Pin to 4 Pin, part # DMC47FR. This will allow you to connect your new circuit board to your 4-pin wire plug,

  • Do Dometic Water Heaters Have An Anode Rod?
Dometic water heaters like the Dometic RV Water Heater # AT96121, which is no longer available, do not have anode rods. If your water heater is giving off a bad odor, I recommend sanitizing your entire system including your fresh water tank. What you can do is pour some bleach in you fresh water tank at a ratio of 1/4 cup of bleach to every 15 gallons of water. Then run it trough all your faucets until you smell the bleach. You'll want to also fill your water heater with this solution....

  • Atwood Hot Water Heater Runs Constantly and Won't Shut Off Unless It's Shut Off Manually
I would first start by making sure that there isn't a leak anywhere on the water heater that would tell the system to keep heating up water. If you've confirmed that there isn't a leak anywhere on the system, you'll next want to check and make sure that the thermostat is up to the tank and making contact on the clear plastic spot; it could be a simple bad connection like this that is keeping the thermostat from reading the correct water temperature. I would also consider changing out the...

  • What Parts Might Need Replaced For a Atwood G6A-8E Water Heater Which Won't Light?
This is something you will most likely want to have inspected and tested by a water heater/rv repair facility. It could be a part as simple as an igniter, it could just require cleaning. It could also involve replacing the Control Board # AT91367 or gas valve. The control board and the 4-Wire Control Harness # AT93312 are the only parts we currently carry for your Atwood G6A-8E water heater.
