How to Wire SPST Lighted Toggle Switch With Three Terminals
Question:
JR illuminated rocker switch part 37212045. There are three terminals. One is for +12v. one is to the load, and the third is a ground for the red light to work. Two are silver and one is brass. Is that a clue? Which is which? The package doesnt say and the web has conflicting information.

For the JR Products # 37212045 Illuminated Rocker Switch the wiring is as follows.
The terminal that does not match the other two (brass) is the ground for the internal switch lamp. This should go to a chassis ground. The center terminal is the power out to the item you wish to power. The other terminal is your 12 volts input from the battery.
