Extensive Testing
InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. This locking pin has a shear strength of 30,000 lbs.
The InfiniteRule locking pin is used to secure your swivel hook or shackle to your bumper mount. This allows your InfiniteRule lock to be used for towing and off-road activities such as rock crawling, mudding, and recovery. The safe working load limit is 10,000 lbs.
The flush-style design prevents the lock from being broken or pried off your swivel hook or shackle. The tapered head provides an additional layer of theft deterrence by preventing a would-be thief from being able to grip the lock with pliers or a wrench.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at these InfiniteRule locking pins for your Blue Ox off-road adapter. These locking pins are going to replace the standard pins for your swivel hook or shackle, and they're gonna work with your Blue Ox 7/8 of an inch off-road adapters, securing your swivel hook or shackle to your bumper mount. These have a safe working load limit of 10,000 pounds and the tapered flush style head is going to help deter theft. Two keys are included. And as you saw here, this does include a weather resistant tethered dust cap that's going to keep water and debris out of the keyway.
And let me go ahead and give you a brief demonstration of how to unlock and lock this. I'm gonna take one of the included keys here and insert it into the lock hole there, keyhole rather. And I'm just going to turn the key counterclockwise and as I hope you can see there, that is loosening up this pin. And so I just keep turning it counterclockwise and then that's going to unlock it for me just like so. So it's gonna be a very easy operation.
And as you can see right here, we have an O-ring that's going to protect the internal components from dirt and grime. And then to lock this, I'm just going to reconnect it and then I'm gonna turn the key clockwise and that is tightening up the pin as you can see there. And so we are tight here. And so as I hope you can see, we do have hash marks all around the ring here. And when you have this key, this lock tight enough, then you're just gonna back off on the nearest hash mark there and then remove the key.
And then your pin here, your locking pin is going to be locked and secure. And then you can just replace the tethered cap and it's going to fit tight and snug. And then it's going to protect that keyway. Now, these are made here in the USA of a durable steel construction. And in case you don't know InfiniteRule, their products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength.

And let me retrieve my ruler here real quick and I wanna give you the measurement of the inside pin length or span. And as you can see, we are sitting right at 2-5/8 inches on that. And you are going to receive these two locking pins with, again, the two keys. And these do have a limited lifetime warranty from InfiniteRule. Well, that's gonna wrap up our brief look today. Great product, wanted to discourage thieves from taking my trailer, this keeps the coupler tube locked so it can’t be slid out. Did exactly what I was looking for.
Works for the hyperhitch 9” adjustable drop 3” hitch. Needs two 3/4 pins if no pintle accessory and three if pintle accessory. Has the prefect span .

Although trailer theft is rare, I highly recommend this lock pin for your gooseneck combined with a hitch lock to prevent and deter the idea. Especially when having to leave your trailer unattended in a public parking lot or on the job. The simplest solution at a great price.
The Hitch lock is definitely a deterrent. It's made of great quality material. It is standing the test of time from harsh weather and tampering. I highly recommend this hitch lock. We're purchasing another.
The product is great, getting it from ETRAILER is the problem, 2nd time had to order this, 1st time I ordered this part with 2 trailer rims that were said to be in stock, waited 10days for them to tell me they're waiting for the rims to come in from backorder 6months from now so we can ship everything together. It's spring I'd like to use my trailer before now. Poor customer service!!

This is the simplest and most effective lock I’ve ever used, I pull my bulldog hitch off, then install the locking pin when my trailer sits that takes two minutes or less to secure…

I had an issue with the lock for my application (my problem for not reading the discription completely) so I called InfiniteRule Security directly and their customer service is second to none. I highly recommend theit products. After a year, I have had no problems with the lock.

Great lock for my gooseneck.
This locking pin adds a bit of security to my new LQ horse trailer. I have a coupler lock for the gooseneck, but realized the gooseneck can be removed by simply pulling the unlocked pin. Problem solved!!!
