The stabilizer strap worked great. The bike rack has less play in it now .

Truith of the matter of fact, I am waiting for my girlfriend to get out of the Army so we can go bick riding to gether. I have tried for two years on craig's list and I have not found not one single person to go MT. bike riding with me.

What you have there is the old model Hollywood Racks Traveler HR800 bike rack which was made in the USA between 1980 and 1993. This is the predecessor to the current Traveler 4 Bike Carrier # HR8500 and you will install your bikes in a similar manner - by placing each bike in the cradle locations and then using the straps to secure your bikes to the bike rack.
