Specs:
Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load.

Today well be reviewing part number RRRTD45P. These are the Rhino Racks sense straps with the padded buckles in a nice red color, and two straps are included. The extension tie down are going to let you secure a variety of items to your cargo carrier or roof rack. They have nice padded rubber buckles that are going to guard your vehicle and your gear against scratches and scuffs. They also have a cam lock system so its going to hold the strap tight over your gear. All you need to do is place the plain end of the strap through the buckle, and then you dont have to hold that down, you just pull it tight, and the teeth in there, the sense strap is going to hold it tight so if you try to pull it loose the other way its not going to give, it will only tighten it around your gear. The strap itself is made from a durable polyester webbing.
It also has these nice built-in hook and loop straps that are similar to Velcro. Theyre going to provide convenient strap storage when youre ready to put them away. The strap dimensions, theyre going to measure about 15/16s of an inch in width and 14 of a foot in length. They have a safe working load limit of 165 pounds with a maximum load or break strength of 496 pounds. Again, two straps are included and theyre a nice bright red in color.

The straps are perfect, easy to adjust, the rubber covers are outstanding.
A great product at a fair price and I highly recommend them.
Well-made and very useful. My dad and brother keep eyeing and commenting on my sweet cinch straps. Easier to use than ratchet straps, but similar holding properties, once cinched, with no noticeable slippage. Great balance of strength and convenience that will ultimately lead to further weakening of my knot-tying skills. The built-in hook and loop strap holder works to hold any extra strap (even at highway speeds) or you can tuck the extra flat strap into the door. Love these, and will probably buy a few more of different lengths.
I am extremely happy with the new Rhino rack to carry my kayak. The product makes it easy to tie down for short or long trips. I just transported my kayak over 10 hours and the tie downs recommended for the front and back worked great. Thank you Lori B for your recommendations and assistance.
These are great straps. The protective area does the job and they hold the taughtness on a trip with wind and much baggage.
Easy and secure. I am short and need a stool but that's an easy fix. I recommend a pad on your cross bars.
Straps worked as they should and did not slip once.

I have used these straps for the past year. I strap lumber to the roof of my Highlander. I love how easy they work and that they do not scratch my new SUV, yes, I like keeping it like new. :- I highly recomend them and appreciate the great assistance from etrailer.
