Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this replacement access door for the Furrion RV tankless water heater. Now, this part will replace a worn or damaged medium access door on the Furrion four and six gallon tankless water heater on your RV. It works on the part number 405381ET. And that water heater we do sell separately on our website.
Basically this door, the way you operate it is you lift up on this latch, twist it 90 degrees until it lines up with the slot, and then release the door. And then you'd see the door will go down so far, but if you need to take it off all the way, you just pull it off the pins and you can take the door off.Basically it attaches to these two pins here at the bottom of the door frame and the spring loaded latch right at the top. That'll lock it into place. So if you're going to put it back, just line up the holes on the door with the pins. Line it up with the match, go ahead and push it down.
And it is spring loaded, so you just pull out on it and twist it and that'll hold the door securely, and then flip the latch down so it doesn't stick out.You can see it has a nice white color. A few measurements on this. If we measure the overall width from this end all the way to this end, is going to be right at 18 1/8 inches, and the overall height from the bottom to the very top, 16 and 1/8 inches tall. But that should do it for the review on this replacement access door for the Furrion RV tankless water heater.

I wish everything I ever had shipped was packaged as well as this order was. There was not a scratch or dent. It shows etrailer cares about their customers and what they sell. The installation was super easy especially with the multiple door size options. The instant hot water heater works just like it was described. The only thing I would do to make it the best= would be to include a longer piece of thermostat wire. That was the only thing I had to go out and buy.

It did as advertised. Big mistake on my part was to caulk it in so well, when the Furrion water heater had to be replaced, it was a bear to get the cover off to remove the water heater. Otherwise, great fascia.

I bought a tankless water heater for my Rv online. It was recovered from an wrecked Rv and didn’t include the outside door. The replacement door fit perfectly. I managed to save about 1/2 on the overall cost on the water heater. Works well and it looks professionally installed. No complaints.
