Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Dutton Lainson dynamic remote brake control for AC arm Strongarm electric winches. Now this hand held remote will fit all the 120 volt AC Strongarm electric winches. Provides dynamic braking to supplement the mechanical brake on the winch, and the dynamic brake feature will stop the winch quickly. If you notice, it has a dual switch controls, right here. There's a power switch right here, which is "Off" and "Run", and it is a toggle switch if you notice, so it will automatically return to the off position when it's released.And then over here is a regular "On" and "Off" switch, which controls the load, and the unload of the winch. Can see it has an "In" and then an "Out" position.
It's all in a nice durable plastic switch handle. The cord itself is 10 foot long. It's an 18 gauge four wire grounded power cord. Basically, the black wire is what'll go to your negative terminal of the bridge. The white wire goes to the positive terminal of the bridge.
The red switch wire goes to the white motor wire. And the green switch wire goes to the black motor wire.Now, it does, if you notice, includes this plastic, hard plastic grommet. And that's used when you run the cable thought the winch cover, that you can put it around the cable so it doesn't rub up against the cover and cause any damage to the cord. This part is made in the USA. And again, this is designed for all 120 volt AC Strongarm electric winches.But that should do it for the review on the Dutton Lainson dynamic remote brake control for AC Strongarm electric winches..
