Video Transcript for ComeUp Winches Remote Control Review

Hey guys, Kevin with etrailer. And today I'm gonna be taking a look at the ComeUp Trailer Winch Remote. So, if you recently installed a ComeUp, Trailer Winch or if you already have one and have been having issues with your, in and out button or your wireless remote, you can also use the plugin, trailer winch remote control Which is going to have a plug, that it'll connect right into the front of your wench. As you can see, there's a little notch in the plug on the wench side and there's gonna be a little notch right on the inside of this plug. So you'll need to orient it the correct way, when you're plugging it in. We'll need to turn on our wench, using our on off button right there.

Now that it's on, if you press up, it's going to push your lead out or pull it in if you press down. So we're gonna pull it up right now As you can see, the remote control, makes it real easy to work. Maybe you don't feel like bendin' down like I am right now and pressing that in and out button, if your wireless remote isn't working or the battery died, or you lost it. So you could easily just run this up, through your cabinets, just like our previous winch remote was ran. And give you easy access to your wench, without having to actually bend over and get inside the cabinet.

Well, guys, I think that does it for our look today at the come up trailer winch remote, my name's Kevin, thanks for watching..

  • Will ComeUp UW-5000si Trailer Winch Wireless Remote Send Signal Through Metal Cabinet
Yes, the remote for the ComeUp UW-5000si Trailer Winch # CU645010 can still work if installed inside a metal cabinet and the doors are closed - our installer Kevin said he was able to get it to work like this in the attached installation video. Keep in mind that the doors on the cabinet in the video aren't very thick so I'm not sure what the line would be drawn as far as thickness of the metal door and range of the wireless controller goes. Worst case scenario is your door is too thick...
