Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at the replacement water valve for your pedal flush Dometic RV toilet. This is going to be that little piece on the inside of the pedal to actually pump the water through and get everything moving. As that pedal comes down, it's going to press on that plunger. Turn it to the side so you can see that a little bit better, maybe. It's going to press on that plunger, and that's going to pull the water through there.
It does have a little screen on the inside to keep out any kind of particulate media. Shouldn't really have any worries about that. It's going to keep hard water buildup there to a minimum, but this should all be clean water going through there, so no real waste. Does come with the two screws to go through that.Now, keep in mind that your cartridge, your spring cartridge will be mounted at this point. Should look something like this.
It's going to match up with that and the mounting holes, and should fit in there. There we go. That's going to be the next component over. The hardware is actually going to go through like that, to attach that into your pedal mechanism. Now, this does not come with the spring cartridge.
I just wanted to show you how those two line up. There are going to be two different styles of this. This one is going to be for some different models. This is sold separately here at etrailer.com. So, if you do need a replacement spring cartridge, you can pick that up here.There's another one that has a black top, so you want to pay attention to your old parts and make sure that you get the right one for your particular model.
Now, this water valve does not replace the 300, the 310 or the 320 series Dometic water valves. That will be a different part, so keep that in mind. But that's pretty much going to do it for our look at the replacement water valve for your pedal flush Dometic RV toilet.

Working great every day use .
The part order went very well and everything delivered on time. It's exactly what I ordered and although I haven't installed it yet, I'm sure it will work fine. I've ordered quite a few parts from etrailer and they've done a very good job!
