Today we're going to take a quick look at the Optronics foldable cup holder. This allows you to have an easy-to-use collapsible cup holder in your vehicle whether that's your RV, van, pretty much anywhere where you need a small cup holder. Helps secure any of your beverages while you're driving.The nice thing about it is that it's adjustable and we can also collapse it up and then it stows away with a nice low profile. I found that it can fit around a standard size mug. You can drop that in there and have your favorite beverage with you. Holds it pretty securely.

There's a nice lip going around the bottom to sort of trap that cup in there. But there's also a little cut out to allow any handle to come out and not get bound up in the holder.We can also adjust it for any narrow beverages that we might have. So if you have a bottle, like a soft drink, or maybe just a bottle of water, it can hold in pretty securely there. It's pretty nice we can adjust that just by clicking through those little notches there at the top. You can adjust the arms independently to get it dialed into where you need it to be.At its widest, that space on the inside is about 3 1/2 inches or 3 3/4 inches in diameter, so any beverage that will fit in there or any container that's that width should work just fine.

Going from the back of it to the open portion is about 3 inches. And then if we close it down, the narrowest that we can get it to be is about 2 5/8 inches.You want to make sure those arms are folded in whenever you go to collapse it since it only fits in that little footprint there, so if you have it all the way out, it might not collapse into its housing. Whenever we have it opened up, that's when we can actually attach it to our mounting surface. It does not come with any hardware for this. You will have to provide that on your own.

But we'll have six holes that we can mount this up with.If you're planning on using a pretty big cup or any container that's full of liquid is going to be kind of heavy, so you'd probably want to have at least two screws in there if not four or all six. Whenever it's folded up, it measures just under four inches tall. It's about 3 7/8 by about 3 3/4. When it's flat, it's about 15/16 of an inch deep or just under an inch. The little shelf at the bottom sticks out just over four inches, about 4 1/8 inches.

Our surface down there at the bottom . fold this out again . gives us about 3 9/16 inches to work with as far as what will fit down at this bottom portion. The little notch is about an inch and 3/8 wide.Overall its a pretty nice little handy thing to have in your RV or again any other vehicle that you need some additional cup holders in. Just have to provide that hardware on your own, but pretty slick little beverage holder. You might want to keep away from anything that's really going to be scaldingly hot since this is made of a plastic design so you don't want it to melt or anything like that on your own, but as long as it's not boilingly hot, you should be just fine.
