Video Transcript for Titan Trailer Brakes T4336000 Review

Today, we're going to take a look at the Titan 19-foot long steel brake line tubing. This brake line will let you run brake fluid from your brake axle to your trailer brakes when used with additional lines, T's and fittings that we do sell separately on our website. This tubing is designed for use with hydraulic brake systems. It's a copper-plated steel with a ProCoat 2000 finish for corrosion resistance, does use a Bundy welding process, which will ensure greater rigidity for high pressure applications. If you notice on the ends, the brake lines are double-flared stainless steel construction. Each end has the brass swivel fittings for easier installation.

Again, this is 19 feet in length, and the diameter is 3/16 of an inch. That should do it for the review on the Titan 19-foot steel brake line tubing.

Product was installed today and was exactly what I needed to complete the brake overhaul.

by:

Exactly what I needed and fast delivery. The best thing about it all was this product was easy to find on the website. All others, as I was looking for price comparison, were not user friendly. Those websites always seem to bring up 1000's of products that you have to sift through to find the exact product you want.

by:

After a few issues with product shipment, I received the device I ordered. Product installed and working as desired. Thanks to the customer support group for working with me to get the correct product.

by:

Looks like it will work. Going to order more stuff in the future.

  • Different Types of Brakes Lines for Boat Trailers
Both automobile and trailer standard brakes lines are made of steel tubing like # T4336000. This item has a 3/16-inch diameter and the steel line is both copper-plated and galvanized for resistance to corrosion. Boat trailers can also be equipped with flexible brake lines that work better with torsion axles where there is movement. An example of such a kit is part # 18SI-BLKIT from Titan. Both disc and drum brakes can use the same steel lines.

  • Plumbling Hydraulic Brake Lines for Tri Axle Boat Trailer
Although I don't have a diagram for a tri-axle trailer, I do have one for a tandem. If you refer to the photo, you would plumb the brake lines as shown, but would add the additional lines and tees for an extra axle. Here's the part numbers of the items shown in the photo. (A) 12-27/32" Long flexible hose ( # T0777300) (B) 18-25/32" Long flexible hoses ( # T0776500) (C)19' Long steel line ( # T4336000) (D) 66" Long steel lines ( # T1086600) (E) 30" Long steel line (...

  • Availability of 24 Foot Long Brake Line and 6 Foot Long Brake Line Sections
The longest hard brake line we have is 19 feet like the part # T4336000 which does have 3/16 inch sized fittings. In flexible brake line we have the part # BH-3MFS-24 which is 24 feet but does have correct fitting size. At 6 foot length we have flexible line like the part # BH-3MFS-6.

  • Is Titan Replacement Solenoid Valve Compatible with 3/16" Brake Line
The Replacement Solenoid Valve # T4748800 that you referenced actually fits with the 19' Titan Steel Brake Line Tubing # T4336000 which has a 3/16" diameter so it will fit perfectly with your brake line. I have attached an installation video of this solenoid that you can use as a reference.

  • Troubleshooting EOH Horse Trailer Brakes That Stay Engaged When Brake Pedal is Released
Since you have replaced your brake assemblies and flexible brake lines, and have bled the system, the sticking brakes on your horse trailer are most likely caused by the electric-over-hydraulic actuator itself or its main steel brake line. It is possible that the actuator is damaged and is not allowing the brake pressure to back off when you stop pressing the pedal. It is also possible that there could be a bit of foreign material in the main steel brake line (rust is most likely) that...

  • Can I Use the Dexter DX Brake Actuator To Convert Drum Brake to EOH On Triple Axle Trailer
The Dexter DX Series Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuator for Drum Brakes part # K71-650 will work well to actuate your drum brakes on the triple axle trailer when you switch over to electric over hydraulic brakes. You will also need a brake line kit. The longest brake line kit we have available is HydraStar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit - Triple Axle - 25' Long, 3/16" Main Line part # HS496-253. I do not believe this line kit will be long enough but I do not know how far back your axle. If...
