If the temperature drops to 165 degrees, the fan stops, saving power.Well the product itself appeared very useful. Everything is included to make it work and all you really need is a set of crimpers. However, when I installed the thermostat into my radiator it never got hot enough to make the fans turn on. I'm not exactly sure why this is but nonetheless this made the product unusable for me. So I kept the wiring and ordered a thermostat that installed into my engine block. Not a bad product, just didn't work for my application.
