Today we're going to take a look at the Deka safety grip battery hold down for group 24 and 24F batteries. Now this safety grip battery hold down will secure your battery to your vehicle. The kit includes one hold down and the two hold down mounting brackets. Now the hold down and the mounting brackets are all rubber coated to help prevent rust and corrosion. And if you notice on the hold down itself, has multiple locations where you can attach your mounting brackets to. Again this is designed to fit the group 24 and 24F batteries.
This part is made in the USA. And the last thing we'll do is just give you the inside dimensions on this hold down. Inside length is right at 10 and 7/8 inches. And inside width is right at six and 7/8 inches wide. But that should do it for the review on the Deka safety grip battery hold down for the group 24 and 24F batteries..

I am using a group 24 battery in a 1955 Chevy hot rod with original type battery box. Could not find a suitable holddown from any of the traditional specialty automotive suppliers. Glad I stumbled on etrailer on the internet.....price was fair sand they were good about advising order status
My existing NOS battery hold down frame on my '64 Corvette would not fit the replacement battery (too small). Did some on-line surfing and found exact size I needed from Deka and E Trailer had a good price for the item plus shipping. Very durable hold down even for the heaviest of batteries and most demanding conditions when used wit the correct bolts, I use 3/8" X 11" Galvanized Carriage
bolts that allows me to maintain a tight and secure battery.
The service from etrailer even in these days of supply channel shortages is always prompt and courteous.
The battery hold down you sent me is very well made and with the rubber coating on it makes me feel a lot safer. I'am using it on a 1957 Oldsmobile Convertible . It has a lot less chance of shorting out and causing a fire hazard. Also it looks and fits perfectly!! I will be buying more from you if you have what I need in the future. Coated with a corrosion resistant material that should give years of dependable service.
It was just what I needed as a retrofit for a 1955 Oldsmobile Starfire for a conventional battery. One note of caution which has nothing to do with the quality of this product, if your battery comes with a carry strap it may interfere with this product. Mine did so I bent the ends out and it now fits fine.
It was delivered much sooner than expected. I was pleasantry surprised the brackets for the J bolts can be mounted in different locations.
This worked great to secure my RV batteries. I used it to hold 2 glass mat batteries in place of the original one when the old ones would not adapt to the size I needed.
Battery hold-down was as I expected. Easy to install and looks like it will do the job just fine.
Price was good and delivery timely.

Battery hold-down fits well and appears to be well made. I gave four stars because it took a long time to arrive after the order was placed.
I matched this up to my old battery tray. The bolt 'holes' can be attached in several locations which makes this holddown quite versatile.
