Hi everybody, my name is Andy with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at Coghlan's cord locks. Now these cord locks are a great way to pull drawstrings together and keep them tight. You don't have to worry about tying them in a knot or anything like that. You can just use these cord locks to quickly and securely pull those strings together and lock them into place, so you don't have to worry about them coming loose. Let's take a closer look at these.

What's nice about these is you can use these on virtually anything, like backpacks, stuff sacks, sleeping bags, outerwear, and really a whole lot more. I recently lost one of these on one of my pieces of luggage on a recent trip. And so these are just great to have on hand in case you do lose them. You'll always have a few of these on hand to replace the cord locks that you may lose. They're very easy to use.

You just simply press to open and you run your string through there. And then once you have the length that you want through there, you release, and it is locked into place. These cord locks from Coghlan have a really strong spring in there, so it is going to hold whatever string that you run through there very securely. So you won't have to worry about these cord locks slipping down the string. Just some quick measurements here.

They are on the small side, of course. So we're sitting right at about a little over an inch in length, about an inch and 1/8, perhaps, and then the width, we're sitting right at about 1/2 an inch.
