Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at these replacement spring bars for the Blue Ox 2-Point weight distribution system. Now, these bars have a 600 to 800 pound tongue weight rating. It is for a quantity of two bars. Now, a weight distribution hitch will evenly distribute the weight of your payload.

And it works by using these adjustable round spring bars and tension to distribute the load of the trailer tongue to the trailer and to the tow vehicle axles. These are a round spring bar, which will flex appropriately for a controlled, even ride. Now, for the best ride, you'll need a weight distribution hitch that's designed for your trailer's tongue weight. So, if you choose a weight distribution hitch that's too light for your application, the hitch won't be effective. And if you go too heavy, you'll suffer a rigid ride and a bouncy trailer.

So basically, if you have a Blue Ox 2-Point weight distribution system setup that has a smaller tongue weight rating and you wanna tow a larger trailer, or if you have the same system with a larger tongue weight rating and you wanna tow a smaller trailer, these bars here will allow you to change your weight distribution system to one with a tongue weight rating of 600 pounds to 800 pounds. And these are a nice powder coated steel construction. The kit will include the include these two spring bars and they'll replace the Blue Ox 2-Point hitch and spring bars. Now, these do, does not include the lift chains or the mounting hardware. Those items we do sell separately on our website, and they're usually listed on this product page as a related product.

If you notice on the one end of these bars, you can see it is a round end. This will insert into the weight distribution hitch head. And on the other end, you can see is a nice, flat, tapered end. And that end installs onto the L brackets along the trailer frame. And if you notice on this flat, tapered end, they do have it stamped on here, the rating is labeled.

This one will say rating of bar 500, or 400, or I'm sorry, 600 to 800 pounds. Now, these parts are made in the USA. Now, we do also sell these spring bars in the 400 to 600 pound rating, which are part number BLU94XR, and the 800 to 1,200 pound rating of BLU64XR.
