Front Mount Receiver Mounting Hole Spacing for Curt Hitch 31367

Question:

I need to know the distance between the two sets of holes where the hitch mounts to the bumper reinforcement, specifically the width between the upper most holes, the width between the lower most holes, and the height difference between the upper and lower sets of holes. Thank you very much.

It sounds like you might want to use Curt front mount hitch # 31367 on a vehicle it was not designed for. Please note that doing so will void the hitch warranty and can also require major modifications done to the vehicle to get it to fit. This hitch is designed for the 2007 to 2009 Toyota 4Runner, 2007 to 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser, and 2010 to 2013 Toyota 4Runner Trail Edition only. It will not fit any other vehicles.

The outer holes measures 36.13 inches apart on center. The inner set of holes are 27.63 inches apart on center. And the height difference is 1-1/4 inches on center. I included a picture showing the dimensions.

If you had a 2005 Toyota Tacoma for example, you would not use this hitch. Instead you would use # 31313 which is designed to fit a 2005 Toyota Tacoma.
