Hitch Recommendations for a Scamp Trailer Bumper

Question:

I am trying to find a 1 1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver I can weld on to the rear bumper of a Scamp trailer. The use would be for occasionally putting on a bike rack or a carry unit see item two at this address I doubt that total weight would ever be over 60-80 pounds for bikes and certainly not over 150, if that for gear. The hitch would not be used for towing. All of the items I find on your website require a make and year of vehicle, so I cant get very far. I also dont know what would be the appropriate one. Can you help? Thanks.

Depending on the dimensions of your trailer's bumper I believe we could have a solution for you that would not require welding. If you have a 4 inch by 4 inch bumper you could use the part # E-100.

If you have 2x4 inch bumper you could use the # C19101. These have 2 inch openings though.

For a hitch opening that measures 1-1/4 inch that would require welding on you would want the part # E-911.

You will need to make sure that the bike racks you plan on using are rated for use on an RV.
