What Direction Should Wet Equalizer Bolts Face
Question:
When installing these bolts on either the equalizer or the shackle straps, does it matter what direction/orientation the grease port in the bolt faces? Ive seen on some Dexter literature that they recommend that the port is facing 90 degrees from the frame of the trailer. Thank you,

It really shouldn't matter what direction the wet bolts part # 126B2 install when used for equalizers or shackle straps. But if Dexter says to install them in the orientation you described then I would recommend you stick with their recommendation. Having the zerk fitting facing out would make accessing them easier.
