Parts Needed to Install a 7-Way on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee
Question:
I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee I need to wire for my 98 Dutchmen Popup camper. I was looking to purchase harness 118354 but noticed that my camper has a connector like PK12706. How would I convert to the 7 pole with that harness? Thanks

First you will need to install the Tow Ready Wiring harness part # 118354 that you referenced. Now if all you need is taillight functions then to convert to a 7-way you would only need a Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole # 37185.
If the 98 Dutchmen camper has trailer brakes you will need a brake controller and instead of the # 37185 you would need a Universal Brake Controller Installation Kit part # ETBC7. This kit comes with everything needed to install a brake controller and install the included 7-way. I attached installation instructions and an install video for you to check out.
The brake controller we recommend the most is the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is the best selling controller on the market because of how easy it is to setup and use, and how well it works.
