Troubleshooting Trailer Turn Signals Not Working on Wiring Harness for a Nissan
Question:
Ok, after installing the tow package relay /wire harness w/ 2 blue, 1 brown relay to the twelve pin connector. My trailers turn signal and flashing hazards dont work. Note: the side markers and rear lights on the trailer are ok I also checked the fuses in the glove box and under the hood. Q: are there any other fuse / relays to check for ?

This does sound like a bad or missing relay. You can test the 7-Way connector without the trailer attached to see if you get any signal at all on the turn signal/brake light circuit. If you do get a signal but the lights are not working on the trailer, it could be that the extra load from the trailer lights is not allowing them to function properly.
This would indicate that most likely the grounds of the trailer light assemblies are not sufficient. You will want to make sure the assemblies are grounded to a clean metal surface. Most assemblies ground through the mounting hardware, so you will want to make sure the assemblies are attached to a clean metal surface.
No signal would indicate a problem further up, most likely a blown fuse or relay.
You will want to consult your vehicle owners manual to determine where are of the fuses and relays are for the towing package on the truck. If you need additional relays, you can use # C57000. The small blue relays activate the turn signal functions.
I also attached an FAQ on troubleshooting 4-way installs for you to check out.
