Location of Factory Brake Controller on a 2014 Ford Explorer

I have a 2014 ford explorer with the factory installed trailer hitch, having a hard time finding the plug under the dash,for the brake controller, location and what it looks like would be great, thanks in advance, any and all help would be great.

For most applications, the factory plug is located beneath the dash, near the center console. On a 2014 Ford Explorer, the brake controller port is located by the steering column. It can also be located behind the hood release handle.

I attached a picture of a drawing of what the connector will look like.
