1998 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup
The product seems solid, pretty easy installation as well. The only problem I realized was the fact of the washers. I had to make my own washers, for my own peace of mind. The ones provided, I felt like, were too small for the class of weight it's rated for. Other than that, would recommend to others. Delivery was fast too!

1997 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup
Excellent fit, finish and quality 8.9 fasteners. Appears to be an upgrade from the factory Class IV hitch, as it mounts slightly forward of the original hitch, bypassing the bolt on frame ear extensions.

1996 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup
Took longer to take the old one off than install this unit. Like the 3 piece design; loosely installed both outside brackets than inserted the center. Around 30 minutes install time. Design and quality seem to be excellent; all bolts aligned with out any re- work.

1988 GMC C/K Series Pickup
The trailer hitch is great. I was worried about the 3 piece installation at first, but very happy with it after installation. My first concern was it carrying the load on only the eight connecting bolts between the crossbar and rails, but that isn't the case. The bolts only hold the pieces together. The square crossbar actually fits into square holes on the side rails so the shear is actually transferred directly by the frame pieces. Additionally the 3 piece installation made handling the weight of the hitch during installation a non factor.
My only complaint is minor and is with the hardware. It only came with 12 of the 1/2 x 13 nuts. I needed 14. The instructions show the vehicle having 2 already in the truck frame. My truck did not not so I had to get two more. Not a huge problem, but it would have been nice to have 14 provided.
The fit is great. It tucks up behind the bumper perfectly. I can't hardly see it except the receiver, chain loops, and 7 pole plug. The parts are sturdy enough I'll never have to worry about whether the hitch can handle the load hooked to it.

This is a really nice hitch. Probably over kill foe my truck, but rather be safe than sorry. Just followed the directions, and the hitch installed without a hitch. Great dealing with etrailer. I have bought several items from them the past few years, and have never been disappointed.

1993 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup
Great product. The B and W HD tube hitch is being mounted on the same truck I have a 15 year old B and W goose neck hitch on that still looks like new and has always worked great. I know the rear hitch will be a great addition to my dually.

The hitch bolted in with no drilling just like they said it would. It is very heavy duty with a much higher rating than I need but I know it can handle my small equipment trailer and then some.

Yeah thanks for asking , I only used the hitch so far, i actually flipped upside down, on my truck, as I am adding a tag axle just below the receiver. But still in the process, I got a ways to go.

I regularly tow a 14 thousand pound trailer behind my Chevrolet Dually. The heavy duty hitch receiver is still performing well. I cant work without it!

- Recommendation For Heavy Duty Hitch To Fit 1998 Chevrolet K3500 PickupUnfortunately the B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver, Item # BWHDRH25124, will not work with a roll pan bumper. The B&W hitch does work with standard or step bumper. I do not have a hitch that works with both. For a hitch that works with your roll pan bumper, I recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch, Item # 41522. The Draw-Tite will not fit an 8 foot bed. Contact us if you have other questions.
