Will The etrailer Trailer Hitch Prevent Hands Free Liftgate Functionality On A 2024 RAV4 XLE

On the trailer hitch e23ZR, there is a statement that it could interfere with the hands free lift gate sensors… I have a 2024 rav 4 xle.. can you tell me if I can identify whether this will be an issue before ordering?

Hey Greg,

Since you wouldn't have to cut off any parts of the rear fascia the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e23ZR wouldn't prevent use of the hands free liftgate sensors but could potentially block the sensors a bit. Typically you can just wave you foot on either side of the receiver tube and it'll be enough to trip the sensors.
