Correct Grease Type for Reese M5 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
I am installing my hitch, but am stuck at the the installation of the head unit to the center section. Reeses instruction sheet indicates grease via a grease gun/fitting along with various other grease points see attached pics, but none of the Reese M5 installation videos Ive seen on etrailer address what type of grease and where/how to apply it. Any suggestions or help for this? Thank you.

Hey Mike, thanks for reaching out!
You'll want to use white lithium grease like the LubriMatic # L11354 for your Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP26FR. We go through the basics of the installations in our videos which is why we don't really address the grease part of the situation.
In the instructions it references using grease or a Lube Plate # RP83002 for the hitch head where the pin box will be making contact with the hitch head.
