2024 Ram 5500 Cab and Chassis 2-1/2" Trailer Hitch Receiver Options
Question:
I need a 2.5 hitch for my 2024 Ram 5500 that is a cab and chassis model. What do you have and recommend?

Expert Reply:
We have 2 different 2-1/2" hitch receiver options for your 2024 Ram 5500 Cab and Chassis and the correct one just depends on what you're looking to get out of the hitch.
The Curt # C15800 is your classic hitch receiver while the TorkLift # TL49YR is a dual stacked receiver that gives you both a 2" and a 2-1/2" receiver.
I recommend going with the Curt unless you're going to be towing a trailer and needing to carry a bike rack, or use an in-bed camper and need a special hitch extender like the TorkLift SuperTruss # TLE1536.
