Troubleshooting Stay-IN-Play DUO Brake System Strength on a 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe

Question:

Stay N Play Duo with 2022 Jeep Wrangler unlimited 4Xe - system either does not engage at all, or it locks up the Jeep brakes. Ive watched your videos and have checked all the connections multiple times, put it on the most sensitive position with the hazards on and adjusted it up until it stopped pulsing, verified that I have the check valve on the pump reversed - and still nothing or everything. Its adjusted to about half-way up and unless I really slam on the brakes in the coach- theres no response from the unit. The monitor in the coach is blank or all 3 lights are on when braking and I can feel and hear the Jeeps tires squealing as the brakes are clearly locked up.

There are a few things to check with your installation of the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # DM86VR on your 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe:

1. Try plugging off the vacuum hose with a short hose and plug, which will be more than just turning that check valve around. If the check valve were to leak then the system would be creating too much pressure.

2. When I reached out to my contact at Demco they said the way you described setting up the G-Force controller didn't seem correct so it would be beneficial to jump to step 12 in the manual and go over that part again.

3. We've found that the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM23MR is needed for brake systems on a 2022 Wrangler 4xe to work properly. Since you didn't mention installing this kit either it's worth checking out as well.
