Repinning Curt Harness C56226
Question:
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector # C56226 may have a wire in the wrong location. Are you getting 12V at the power location? If these wires are reversed then your problem will be solved by simply swapping them. Ive attached a photo of the trailer location/functions for the 7-way connector to help. The Us Car Connector standards are as follows and will need to match up function with location on 7-way: Black-12V power Whiteground Red-left turn and stop BrownTail and running lights Green right turn and stop Yellow-reverse lights Blue-electric brakes Above was the answer for the 56226 brake and battery wire needing switched, sounds easy enough. Its not, how do you repin these two wires, other than cutting and resplicing them?

Yeah I'm not sure why it was written like that. The only way to repin the # C56226 is to cut and resplice them, unfortunately.
