Other than the fact that each 7-way trailer connector you mentioned is from a different manufacturer, both the # C56226 from Curt and the # 118266 from Tow Ready would work identically. Either connector would work just fine on your Xterra.

You could choose the less expensive Tow Ready model and not feel that you sacrificed anything. If you click the provided link, you can see the # 118266 being installed on a 2014 Frontier. The procedure would be pretty similar on your Xterra.
