Should Derale Transmission Cooler Replace or Install at Same Time as Factory Vehicle Cooler
Question:
I have a 2010 Suburban with a factory transmission cooler. Can I add this as an additional cooler, or is it a replacement only? Also, what parts would I need to make either setup work? I have the 5.3L with 6sp auto. Thanks!

The best way to use the Derale transmission cooler part # D13504 would be as a supplemental cooler to what you have now. This gives you the cooling power of both coolers. This is also the most common way people use coolers like this and would be what I would recommend for your 2010 Chevy Suburban.
You will also need the snap-in radiator adapter part # D13035 to complete the install. This installs on the radiator and gives the lines fitting to attach to. I attached an install video for the fitting for you to check out as well.
