Replacement Legs for Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Super Duty

Hello everybody. This is jeff@etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at these replacement legs for the Reese M5 fifth wheel trailer hitch on your Ford super duty trucks. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2011 and newer Ford F two 50, F three 50 and the F four 50 super duty trucks that have the factory installed towing prep package. Now these replacement legs, just turn it here so you can see what they look like.

I'm just showing you how they will be looked like when you're installed onto your hitch. These replaced on legs will fit your Reese M5 fifth wheel trailer hitch. That hitch part number is RP 68FR. We do sell that hitch separately on our website and basically these legs as well, the bolt to the center section of the Reese M five trailer hitch. It does include the hardware to install it.

Once these are bolted to the hitch and you have the head on your hitch, you're all ready to go. You just drop the hitch into your vehicle. Basically the legs will mount into the four receiver pucks that are built into the factory under bed rails. I'm gonna zoom in and show you how they would install but basically on each leg, this leg and then the one on the other side. What you'll need to do is you pull out the lynch pin and you rotate these handles out 90 degrees, just like that.

And if you notice, when I rotate those handles the tabs down here, rotate also. So with these open, you'll go to the other side on the other leg, do the same way, open those. Once they're all four open and you can drop your whole hitch into your pucks that are in the factory under bed rails. Once they drop in then you just twist your handle back 90 degrees same way on this rinse, and you notice when you twist it back, it'll lock these tabs into those pucks that are on your vehicle. Once they're on their pitcher put back in and that'll keep the handles from opening up.

And again, you'll do the same thing over here that I'm showing you on the other side also. Once that's all done, you're all ready to go and tow and then to remove it at same way, you just do reverse pick off the pin, open the handles, lift the hitch out and then you'll have full truck bed access. So it makes it very easy installation and removal but that should do it for the review on these replacement legs for the Reese M five fifth wheel trailer hitch on your Ford super duty trucks..
