Recommended Cargo Box for a 2018 Nissan Rogue
Question:
I have installed etrailer cross bars for 2017 Nissan Rogue S with naked roof - Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - Item # RRVA126S-2. The cross bars are quite thick in profile over 1 inch so Im concerned some cargo boxes might not fit, especially those from Thule and others with the clawfoot type attachments. Do you have any recommendations for a cargo box - large to x -large that will fit the etrailer crossbars? Thanks

Welcome back and thanks for the picture! To add an large cargo box to your 2018 Nissan Rogue, I recommend the 16 cubic foot Thule Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box item # TH6357B. I checked with Thule and this box is confirmed to fit the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - Item # RRVA126S-2 you purchased and will give you enough clearance to open up your rear hatch.
The Yakima SkyBox 18 Rooftop Cargo Box item # Y07336 you were looking at will also fit those crossbars but it is huge. This won't work on your Nissan. You'll block the rear hatch from opening.
