Can The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Be Wired Into A Fused Outlet Instead Being Ran To The Battery
Question:
I just bought the 118480 wire kit for my Rogue. Can I use the 12volt power socket that is located in the cargo space for the power wire, instead of running it to the battery? I believe this 12 volt socket is on a 10 amp circuit. Thanks for the help.

Technically you could splice into this outlet for since it does have a 10 amp fuse but you'd have to ensure the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118480 is the only thing on this line and would render the outlet useless. If you plugged anything else into this outlet you'd likely pull too much and blow the fuse.
Personally, I recommend running the line to the battery directly to ensure that the ModuLite is receiving the correct amount of power and won't end up giving you issues down the road.
