Can Trailer Tire Size 4.80-12 be Replaced with 5.30-12

My trailer has 4.8 - 12 5 lugs. will a 5.3 - 12 5 lug fit my trailer?

Yes, you can as the size is very similar and it's a very common tire size change. So if you had a 5 lug wheel currently you could use the part # AM30850 or for a 4 bolt wheel you'd want the part # AM30790 which also has a galvanized wheel and same tire.

Or you could reuse your current wheels and mount the part # AM10066 to it.

Usually wheels/rims do not carry a speed rating but trailer tires definitely do. Our trailer tires have a default speed rating of 65-mph unless we indicate otherwise in their specs. All tires and wheel/tire products in your 5.30-12 size are shown on…
