Trailer Hitch & Towing Set Up For 2013 Hyundai Genesis Sedan
Question:
I am looking at your page and it appears that you sell a hitch for a 2013 Genesis 3.8L Sedan. I have not been able to find a rating for what this car is able to tow. Can you tell me where your information came from? I would like to tow a 900lb motorcycle on a 400lb trailer.

The information on our trailer hitches come from the hitch manufacturers, and those ratings have nothing to do with the actual tow rating of the vehicle. The hitch manufacturers rate the hitch for what it is capable of, independent of the vehicle. To find the capacity of your 2013 Hyundai Genesis sedan you'll need to take a look at the owner's manual or contact your Hyundai dealer; I Googled for this but was unable to find an online version. If you do decide to tow with your '13 Hyundai Genesis sedan, here is exactly what you'll need:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12086
- Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56041
- Curt Class II Drawbar # C45521
