Are Additional Parts Needed Along With An Over Under Conversion Kit To Complete Installation
Question:
I want to install this comfort rid kit, my axles are currently on top of the leaf springs but I need to do an axle flip kit to put the axles under the leaf springs for more truck bed clearance on my fifth wheel. Will the standard kit do this or do I need additional pieces other than the axle flip kit I intend on purchasing separately?

Upgrading your shackle straps and bolts with the # MR26ZR is a great choice to do when flipping your axles with an over under conversion kit since you'll have to remove most of your hardware to complete the flip. You'll need to measure the diameter of your axles with a caliper # PTW80157 to determine which to kit to get.
If you have 2-3/8" diameter axles you'll need part # K71-384-00, and for 3" axles you'll need part # K71-385-00. You won't need any other parts to complete the installation, but you will need to have the new spring seats welded to fully secure them in place. You'll also need to jack up your trailer and then use a floor jack or bottle jack under the axles so that you can maneuver them up and down during the installation.
