Will A Roadmaster Comfort Ride System Fit If You Also Install A Dexter Over Under Conversion Kit
Question:
will the Road Master comfort ride kit fit after I do the axle flip?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers # RM-2460-2570 will still work with your 5th wheel even if you flip your axles to have your leaf springs above the axle with a kit like # K71-385-00. I recommend completing both at the same time because you'll have to completely take your suspension apart to install the Comfort Ride.
You'll want to get down by your axles and check the axle tag to see what the capacity is prior to purchasing your Comfort Ride system to ensure that you're getting the correct size. Most likely your either have 5k axles and need the # RM-2460-2560, or you have 7k axles and need the # RM-2460-2570.
This type of installation requires quite a bit of setup and a lot of lifting and lowering the trailer so if you plan on completing this installation yourself you'll want to check out the installation videos I attached below to get yourself fully prepared.
