Recommended 5th Wheel Rails, Hitch & Wiring Harness for a 2011 Ford F-350
Question:
We have a 2011 F350 super duty short bed. We are purchasing a 12,500lb 42ft 5th wheel. We have no puck system. What rails and hitch do we need? What about wiring? Thank you.

For your 2011 Ford F-350, I recommend checking out the Curt Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit for Ford - Carbide Finish # C16424-204.
This is an above-bed rail system that will easily install to your 2011 Ford F-350 and will provide a mounting point for a 5th wheel hitch like the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider # C16541. Also. these rails will work with Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Valley, & Reese 5th Wheel hitches.
This hitch has a maximum towing capacity of 20,000-lbs, a vertical load limit of 5,000-lbs, and has 12" of slider travel from front to back.
The Curt A20 can also be adjusted from 17-1/2" to 21-1/2" to accommodate just about any 5th wheel setup.
As far as wiring goes, you're first going to need to add a 4-way # C58044 in which you can then install a 7-way # ETBC7.
