Recommended Ramps to Reduce Approach Angle to Load BMW Z3 in Toy Hauler

Question:

I have a 5th wheel toy hauler that I want to load a BMW Z3. I need to lessen the incline because the bumper scrapes the door/ ramp. Could these be used to extend the loading ramp so that the angle is decreased? My thought is to set the ramps at the mid point of the 8ft door/ ramp. This will then extend the 84inch ramps 3ft past the end. FYI, floor height is 3ft. Thank you.

I do have a solution, but the # 325-GH-R84 are not designed to work this way. Since they are designed to hook over the back edge of a trailer, you would drop off of the end where the hooks are onto the ramp of your 5th wheel. It would not be a smooth transition and depending on your clearance you might cause damage. They may also pop up into your Z3 when you drive off the end of the ramps.

Instead, I recommend the Race Ramps Trailer Loading Assist Ramps # RR-TR-5. These have cutouts so you can lay your toy hauler door on the ramps. They are also significantly lighter and easier to handle with their foam construction at 10 lbs per ramp. The ramps will reduce the angle of approach to 4.3 degrees so you can load your Z3 without the bumper scraping.
